Make sure you have appropriate expert advice before you build, rebuild or design chimneys which pass close to or through thatch. Always keep your chimneys in good condition. Try not to make fire nearby your thatch roof.

Thatch roof are treated by a fire retardant chemical that we spry onto and inside your thatch roof.  Please note that this chemical is not for sale, it is highly toxic.
