This is the ekstra material that you use to build the thatch roof.
Sisal twine
This is the rope that we use to tighten the thatching grass.
Nails
Top Thatch sell 3 inch, 4 inch, 5 inch, 6 inch and 8 inch nails per kg.
We normally use:
- 3 inch nails to fasten the laths
- 6 inch nails to fasten the kappe
- 8 inch nails to fasten the Ring Beams
Threated Rods and Nuts and Washers
Top Thatch sell 10mm and 12mm threated rods
This is to fasten the crosses poles to the king post poles.
